The Chamuanga Chess Academy (AXC) is a mind sports organization within Grupo Educacional Chamuanga. AXC athletes emerge through an evolutionary process of chess education in our school. The academy develops intellect, memory, concentration, imagination, and strategic thinking in our students.

Starting in early November, this internal team championship runs over three terms with slow games. Awards for 1st to 3rd place per category are presented at the end-of-year ceremony.
Held every June to greet the International Pedagogy Seminar (July), with participation of all Chamuanga teachers. Official Swiss & Blitz competition.
Held every February in memory of Esterinha. Swiss & Blitz system tournament open to external players with awards across categories.
Held every October to greet the Family & Education Congress, bringing together parents, guardians, and teachers in competitive Swiss & Blitz chess.
We compete in provincial, national, and African championships, affiliated with APX, FAX, and CAC.
